DGS Dragon Ski and Snowboard Club - 2012
The DGS Ski and Snowboard Club has had a great couple of trips to Echo Mountain so far this year. Our third and final outing will be on Friday, March 2.
Please be sure to send your child to school with appropriate winter gear for each outing to Echo Mountain, including a heavy coat, snow pants, hat, gloves/mittens, and sunglasses or goggles. The weather on the mountain can range from chilly, snowy, and windy to sunny and mild. Students must also bring either a packed lunch or money to purchase food at the Echo Mountain lodge.
Drop-Off Procedure on the Morning of 3/2:
1. Students drop off any big equipment such as skies in the gym.
2. Students go outside to blacktop and then to class for attendance like they normally would.
3. Around 8:05, there will be an announcement to dismiss ski club kids to go to gym.
4. We will leave on the bus at 8:30 and return to DGS around 3:30. They will go straight to playground for parent pick-up.
